Lithuania's industrial output increased from last year in January, data released by the Department of Statistics showed Wednesday.
Industrial production increased 4 percent on an annual basis in January. Production in the manufacturing sector grew 5.2 percent year-on-year, while mining and quarrying output fell 6.8 percent during the month. There was a 2.4 percent annual fall in the production of electricity, gas, steam and aid conditioning supply during the month.
Month-on-month, industrial output decreased 1.9 percent in January. However, on a seasonally adjusted basis, output increased 3.6 percent during the month, the agency said.
